Daily Bread

In God's word Exodus 16 the meaning of daily bread is made strikingly clear.
The nation Moses was bringing through the wilderness was left to deal with the manner in which God would be their provision. The importance of the Sabbath was also made clear.

In the world today most aren't going through wilderness void of food.
We are however in a wilderness of economic need.  Many more than expected need paying work, and in the lack of work, they are faced with inability to purchase food.

Many will belittle Jesus and say He doesn't exis.
They will point out that the Bible is purely mystical and God's word is a contradiction of itself.
All of this is fine and God allows for choice of his creation.  To be upset with them is not our work as Christians.

There are small armies of Christians that are well organized to distribute food to others in need.
Matthew 25 is clear upon a servants duties concerning hunger in vs. 35 also in vs. 42

As servants of God and Jesus we are not supposed to cast our pearls to the swine.
The Pearl is the only Gem which comes from Life.  All other gems are elemental.
The Pearl is the church.  The church serves the meek, the hungry, the thirsty, the sick, the imprisoned and
the lost.  While the works of the church are done humbly and without self glorifying, the world says Jesus isn't God.

The food pantries still exist and disperse food.  Prisons are supported in ministry of Christ, and hospitals receive volunteer services from Christ's church.  Regardless of what the world says Daily Bread is provided, even if it isn't the manna is not on the wilderness ground. In the hearts of servants Jesus is alive.

We as servants are to be humble.  Even as though I am able to work I have experienced times of not being able to work, because of economic scarcity.  While I remain diligent doing all I can do to find work, I am humbled by the reality of economic distress in our land.  This morning we went to the food pantry for our daily bread.  Because I am humble it was a time for being grateful that Jesus was alive in the body of His church through the labors of His dutiful servants.

We have endured difficult times in this economy. This enduring comes by way of Jesus' words.
Matthew 19:26

But with God all things are possible.

The world can say what it will regarding Jesus.  But I doubt they are in the work of supplying food to those in need.  The teachings and commands Jesus left us always demanded service as servants while giving glory and loving God the Father.

By the way:
Luke 22:19

And he too the bread, and gave thanks and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in rememberance of me.

Come as you are to the table of Life.
It is set for all,
greatest and least,
mighty and weak,
sinners and righteous ones.

Peace and Blessings

Where is Christian Authority in Ferguson MI. ?

Ferguson is the focus of our nation if not the world.
In recent reports I have seen peaceful protestors putting themselves between law enforcement and riotous gangs.
The typical men of God we'd expect to see, Sharpton and Jackson might as well be on vacation.

Apparently municipal, state and federal authorities can't or won't do anything to quell the violence.
They sure speak to all they are doing but the media always seems to suggest it is a complex situation.
It is not!

Matthew 24:10 says it plainly.

And then shall many be offended and they shall betray one another and shall hate one another.

If you have seen what the media says, it is clear that 'the community' they are trying to calm doesn't want any calmness.  There is no person in religious authority reminding folks that demonstrated anger isn't Christian.
Nobody is mentioning how important forgiving is nor are they suggesting it.
Certainly nobody is speaking to the need to respect the law, at least nobody that can make a difference.

So I ask, Where is the Christian authority in Ferguson?
The only courageous and righteous folks are the ones putting themselves between the agitators and law enforcement.

Pray for Ferguson and the peace of it. Pray for the Holy Spirit to guide others as it guides those willing to stand in the gap.
The power of prayer is mighty!

Need for Discerning, Time for Action!

There was a time when my life was an obsession with the secular world.
My time was consumed by watching news especially politics.
I wrote two books in 2010 that attempted to mention the circumstances I observed.

The writing wasn't humble.  It was most assuredly an in your face  diatribe of how our culture
arrived at our troubled times.  I even made arguments for unpopular but worthy causes.  In fact the writing I urged has proved wise four years later.

To this day I am unsure as to why it never became successful.  Lord knows I tried by all possible means to network it as resources were available.

Today you may hear that the main stream media ignores particular news stories by many talking heads.
In 2010 such wasn't the case as it is today.  However when I did make the case in a written work it was flatly rejected.  All I can assume is that the prince of this world (Satan) doesn't want truth revealed or God the Father
has a different will than I thought to follow.  My frustrations over this consideration are heavy.  If the books were read and debated I would have never had income needs as I do today.

The heavy frustrations are part of living in the flesh.  Those principalities in high places do not want my findings to be known.  So be it.

Now that I am looking towards working as a servant of God my manners of revealing observations are certainly less harsh for the conveyance of insights.  The observations however are no less truthful than before.
I am as I was made.

These days I watch current events.  I don't obsess on them as I did before but I do keep myself informed.
Scripture from the prophet Isaiah have been on my mind.

KJV
Isaiah 5: 16-23

But the Lord of Hosts shall be exalted in judgment, and God that is holy shall be sanctified in righteousness.

Then the lambs shall feed after their manner and the waste places of the fat ones shall strangers eat.

Woe unto them that draw inequity with cords of vanity and sin as it were a cart rope:

That say Let him make speed and hasten his work that we may see it:

and let the Holy One of Israel draw nigh and come that we may know it.

Woe onto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter.

Woe onto them that are wise in their own eyes and prudent in their own sight.

Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink:

Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away righteousness of the righteous from him!

Here is the version of
The Complete Jewish Bible.

But Adonai-Tzva'ot is exalted through justice,  God the Holy One is consecrated through righteousness.

Then the lambs will be able to feed as if they were in their own pasture, and those wandering through will eat from the ruined fields of the overfed.

Woe to those who begin by pulling at transgression with a thread, but end by dragging sin along as if it were a cart rope.

They say, "We want God to speed up his work to hurry it along so we can see!  We want the Holy One of Israel's plan to come true right now so we can be sure of it."

Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who change darkness into light and light into darkness, who change bitter into sweet, and sweet into bitter!

Woe to those who see themselves as wise, esteeming themselves as clever.

Woe to those who are heroes at drinking wine
men whose power goes to mixing strong drinks, who acquit the guilty for bribes, but deny justice to the righteous.

America fits this description perfectly.  Indeed the prophet Isaiah spoke to the ancient nation of Israel before Christ.  Mankind however at any point in history remains the same to the core while times and realities change.

Our American Culture is nothing more than a modern day version of Old Israel as the world would notice.
The nation of Israel was formed by wanders just as our country came to be from pioneers fleeing prosecutions in Europe.  Those who came here formed up our country with a covenant to God, the same God of Abraham stated in the Mayflower Compact.  Just as Israel was blessed so are we as the children of Abraham.  All be it that our founding came through a Christian perspective.

In the days of Jesus his ministry was exalted by the people he served.  Those people flocked to Him rather than to the reigning priests scribes and kings.  For His exaltation He was killed.  Those in Power claiming to know the word of God denied God's promise even as scripture prophesied.

Today our culture in its politically correct manner would like to erase God from our history.  People that delivered technological convenience to the bounty of our collective wealth suggest that those of us serving God are the enemy, because any god isn't needed.  More they suggest that belief in God is some sort of mental illness.
We are plagued by the epidemic of moral relativism.  Even churches in our country are bending to political correctness of what a loving God would condone or accept.

As chaos in our world expands and unsolvable problems continually present themselves God's Ten Commandments are hidden.  Even the Two Commandments of Jesus have become meaningless in the seeking of denominational gods thought to be God almighty.

Following Christ is as popular as seeking paranormal discoveries.  Neither are truthful as presented.  In fact, all evidence demonstrates that both are lacking any type of Abundant Life promised by Jesus Christ.
Rather fear of terrorism, division of race or class are the primary focuses of the day.  If any good distraction is presented by the talking heads within the media it is such as a fad of dumping ice water on the heads of those wanting to do good for a cause.  Such clever wisdom infects us.  If we truly were doing the work of Jesus, we wouldn't need such a display of foolishness, nor would we be participants of any of it!

How many followers of Christ spread the Gospel of His Kingdom as He directed?  Do you speak of His Gospel at work, or in social circles?  Is that just listened to at worship service?  How many followers of Christ feed the poor, or give shelter to the stranger?  How many bring the Good news to prisons or even hospitals?  Who cares for the widows or orphans?

Do the followers of Christ bring the Good News beyond the possibility of losing work?

I do not believe that our nation can be saved as many would think.  I do not believe our nation can be turned around.  I do believe that we are as a nation corrupt no longer under God.  When the Land of the Free has the greatest amount of incarcerated people in the world there is something very wrong.

When our own leaders act in a manner contradictory to the freedoms stated in our constitution and when those charged with protecting individuals from government corruption abdicate their duty, (media) it is clear we are close to our end.

God's will is being worked out and as much as we love America, and being Americans our nation will become servants to His Kingdom coming.  Nobody knows when Jesus will return, but in as much as I have studied God's word and watch the world as it is I am sure that God is close to pulling the trigger for releasing His wrath on a wicked and sin filled world.

I am no follower of Jesus, but I am chasing Him in telling all who will hear; It is time to get your house in order!
I urge you to develop a relationship with God through Jesus.  Not as many claiming to know Him would suggest, but as only you can do by getting to know Him.

Read and understand what Jesus commanded within the New Testament.  Allow the Holy Spirit in you to grow and guide you to what God says is acceptable rather than to be counted in the herd of goats.

Peace and Love.

Urgent Message for Presbytery

Isaiah 62:6

I have set watchman upon the wall O Jerusalem which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the Lord, keep not silent.

Ezekiel 33

This message is not for the flocks.
This message is for those ministering to the flocks and the lost.

The Antichrist is here but not yet revealed.
End times prophecy in Matthew 24, Mark 13, Luke 21 are here.

The United States of America through governing offices has turned away from God's authority.
Our elected officials are corrupted, greedy and wicked.  None will solve our current or future problems because none are humble towards God.

If we look at current events we can see wars and rumors of wars, famines and pestilences, and earthquakes in diverse places.

We are in the beginnings of sorrows yet to come.

As I watch preachers today very few are in the business of preparing disciples.
Less are in the business of Jesus' teachings.

Many are into preaching prosperity for fleshy conditions.
Contributing to a ministry is much like absolution to salvation.

The real problem false prophets have is the lack of Holy Spirit Wisdom.
I can no longer avoid writing this warning.  All I have been doing for my own condition
seems to be failing. The hands of this workman have not put me in the labor of kings of the world.

He who lives in this world has a growing power.
Injustice, theft and distractions are rampant.

Our world is in the midst of focus on "Sharknado Two".
Even those given to informing us in the secular world are taken up in man's foolishness.

Preaching to the flocks that Jesus was the lamb is a good thing, but the importance of Jesus coming back as the Lion of Judah is far more important.  The Holy Spirit guides me to urge pastors towards studying God's word in Ezekiel 33.  God's enemy Satan has his minions hard at work preparing for his inevitable rise as it is written.  How else can a child of God see all things happen in this world and not see the urgency of times at hand?

It is time to allow the Holy Spirit to grow within our flesh so that we truly are a peculiar people, not of this world.  We are to be the light and the salt wearing our Gospel Armor as witnesses for the coming Kingdom.

If your ministry is counting on a rapture before end times you may want to seek Holy Spirit Wisdom.
How could a rapture be exclusive while those believing in Christ are being persecuted unto death before such exclusivity?  Why would watchman be necessary to blow the horn of God's coming sword?

We are here on earth in the time of the 5th seal written of in Revelation.

Revelation 6: 9-11

And when he had opened the fith sea I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held:  And they cried out with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou mot judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?  And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that they should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

If your flock is not being told of Glory to come through this time of beginning sorrows then be assured your fate is outer darkness.  Earth is on the verge of being shaken just as heaven will be shaken.

All we can do is strengthen our faith and pray for Jesus our Savior to come quickly.
Also make sure your name is written in the Book of Life.

Peace and Blessings
