Conversant God

Isaiah 1:18

Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord:  though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

Beloved this is an Old Testament Scripture in which God reveals a certain promise of a conditional nature.
Before the promise is offered God establishes the condition of his people as HE sees them.  Not as they'd like to think of themselves.

Immediately God presents a reward for obedience to his will and also a warning for what will happen if obedience isn't observed.  If you take the time to read God's eloquent expressiveness in the preceding versus, it would be clear God is presenting an anguish and hatred for all He sees.  You would hear his pleading nature while justifying the seriousness of his tone.  After the 18th verse you would be amazed to hear his faithfulness towards love in what he would do.

Turn to John 20:29.

Thomas, because thou has seen me, thou has believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and have yet believed.

Isaiah believed without seeing, yet he spoke to the nation of Israel because he believed in the reasoning power of God, rather than the sensual acknowledgment thru seeing him.

Turn to Luke 24:44

These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms concerning me.

Before Jesus God spoke His words through favored men, judges, prophets/prophetesses, and kings.  Ultimately through Himself in the flesh as Jesus.  Jesus informed his disciples that he would pray to the father and send us a great comforter.  He is known as the Holy Spirit.

Do you hear the Holy Spirit?  The Holy Spirit is a real individual pleading with all of us.  The Holy Spirit has feelings and can be grieved. Ephesians 4:30.  The Holy Spirit will do as Jesus did when he wasn't heard.  He'll just move along to the next soul willing to receive him.  That is not a good way to be. Visited and left.

God also said to another prophet that he would pour his Holy Spirit upon all flesh in the later days. Joel 2:28.
It is quite likely that you are hearing a voice in your head, don't be alarmed.  It is not a reason to see a therapist unless of course it is directing you to do evil.  You may not like the words of the voice in your head, but you should hear the voice and reason with The Holy Spirit as He speaks to you.

My beloved God is and always has been a conversing being.  The question is are you a good listener?
Remember God stands at the door and knocks.  You must invite him in so he can have dinner with you.
Do not think or believe that God is anything less than a supreme being with compassion to talk to the little folk!

Peace and Blessings
