Lesson from Charleston SC.

We have all digested what humans have to say about the senseless tragedy endured by those residing in Charleston.  Speculations of men no matter how vast always seem to miss the salient points from on high most can't and won't consider.

Recently, we have seen how other senseless acts of violence have turned other communities into war zones replete with violence that apparently has nothing to do with the precipitating sin.  Folks that don't know enough to channel good anger always manage to distract their sense of justice to the overall shock experienced by the whole community for the grievance of loss.

But in Charleston what do we see?  We see a response from those personally involved acting as truthful servants to Jesus Christ.  Are they any less hurt and pained by loss than some of the other places where injustice has happened?  I would say yes, most certainly they are.  Nine very precious people were taken as innocents.  They weren't selling products without license, they weren't resisting arrest.  They were however pillars in the community not just of Charleston SC., but in God's family as obedient children.

What is the result?  Could it be the human version of God's Amazing Grace?

It really matters little what darkness motivated Dylann Roof to act as he did.  He did as he did and tremendous pain was inflicted.  All the talk of why he did it matters little.
What does matter is the manifestation of witness to God's Glory and Praise because of the way His children in Charleston responded.  They did so as Jesus Christ commanded, and their city will forever be a beacon of God's truth within our country.

Can Baltimore claim the same?  Can any city that responds with violence of greater senselessness than the sin of guilty claim what Charleston can?  My answer is, "No they can't!"  The Power of the Holy Spirit is very alive in Charleston SC.  And if nothing else, and besides what all the non faithful minds yap about for closure or understanding; the lesson of enduring persecution has been given.  It should be held very close to anyone's thoughts and hearts going forward.  Love overcomes all, even in the face of violence happening and yet to become more frequent.

Oh yes my brothers and sisters, God is very alive and His character can be witnessed in those that embrace trials to serve God for His ultimate Love, Grace and Mercy.

Peace and Love
